Hisatsu Line to Resume Service Between Yoshimatsu and Hayato on June 28, 2026

The 37.4 km stretch of the Hisatsu Line between Yoshimatsu Station and Hayato Station, which has been suspended since August 7, 2025 following damage caused by the "August 2025 Heavy Rainfall," is set to resume service. Restoration work has reached a stage where a completion date has been confirmed, with trains scheduled to run again from the first service on June 28, 2026 (Sunday).

Restoration work has been ongoing since the disaster struck in August 2025.

Replacement Bus Service Ending

The replacement bus service currently operating on the suspended section will end with its final run on Friday, June 26, 2026.

Timetable After Service Resumption

The departure and arrival times and the number of trains on the Yoshimatsu Station–Hayato Station section will remain the same as before the disaster. However, some trains will have their service extended to operate between Kokubu Station and Hayato Station.
