The online MMORPG MapleStory has launched a new event called the "Oshi Hakken Project" as of May 27, 2026 (Wednesday). The event introduces a new NPC named "Ai" and takes players on a search through Maple World for scattered fan art.

The fan art of my beloved ones has somehow scattered all over Maple World, and now I — the one destined to retrieve it — must set out to reclaim it
New NPC "Ai" is at the center of this event. The characters she adores — Lara, Angelic Buster, and Len — inspired her to create a hand-crafted fan art collection titled "☆My-Stars☆." However, her devotion was so intense that the fan art materialized in the real world and scattered across Maple World. Set against the fan culture holy ground "Ikebukuro," players are tasked with tracking down all of Ai's cherished fan art.
Event Period: May 27, 2026 (Wed) to July 1, 2026 (Wed) at 11:59 PM
1. Ai's Fan Activity Diary
Defeat 1,000 monsters of an appropriate level to record an attendance entry in Ai's Fan Activity Diary. Various growth support items can be earned based on the number of attendance entries. Additionally, collecting fan art cards from the various sub-events unlocks special event-limited rewards — including the "☆MY-STARS☆ Title" and the "Oshi Totem Choice Coupon" — as Ai's top picks.
2. Search for the Scattered Fan Art
Defeating a set number of monsters triggers a skill from cheering squad companions who wipe out enemies. After the skill activates a certain number of times, a mission appears that rewards fan art cards. Clear missions to collect a variety of fan art cards.
3. Ita-Bag Decoration
Spend collected fan art cards to decorate an ita-bag. The finished design can be placed as furniture in the My Home feature, where it can be viewed by clicking on it.
4. Ai's Return
"Oshi Coins" obtained from the various sub-events can be exchanged for a range of items at the "Ai's Return Coin Shop." Available items include the "Karma Potential Awakening Scroll (Unique) 100%," "Sol Erda," and the "Legendary Circulator."
Upcoming Events
5. Doki Doki Mahjong (Available from June 3)
Visit the maid café to battle in a MapleStory-original mahjong-style mini-game. Special cards and various items can be earned based on cumulative score.
6. Doki Doki Card Trading (Available from June 10)
Trade event cards with other players. With some luck, a rare special card may come your way.
Best Oshi General Election
Running alongside the main event, the "Best Oshi General Election" lets players vote for their favorite from among 24 fan art illustrations to determine the top 3.
Voting rights can be obtained by logging into the special site, playing the game, or collecting cards during the "Oshi Hakken Project" event. Use acquired voting rights on the voting page within the special site.
Participating in the vote rewards players with an "Oshi Frame Choice Coupon" and "Oshi Mantle Choice Coupon" based on the number of votes cast. The "Oshi Mantle Choice Coupon" will become a special in-game item featuring the top 1–3 ranked fan art illustrations from the election.

After voting, tap the "Join Campaign" button displayed on screen and post on X. Amazon gift cards, MapleStory eco bags, and MapleStory Friends stuffed toys are available as prizes through a lottery draw.
