The square roll cake Cafe Mocha brings together coffee-infused cream, a cacao-flavored sponge, and a smooth cacao sauce at the base of the cake for a rich café mocha–like taste experience. The coffee cream is prepared by slowly steeping lightly roasted, coarsely ground coffee beans in heavy cream to draw out their aroma, depth, and gentle bitterness. That cream is then wrapped in a sponge that blends Mr. CHEESECAKE's signature moist-yet-airy texture with cacao powder. Enjoyed together with the smooth cacao sauce hidden beneath the cake, each bite delivers a full-bodied café mocha flavor.

The original square roll cake features the same moist-yet-airy sponge wrapped around a cream made with the rare Wuyi oolong tea "Wuyiyan Tea," delivering a rich umami-forward flavor with a distinctive aroma and depth. The recommended way to enjoy it is fully thawed, which allows a praline hidden at the base to melt and meld with the sponge for a uniquely tender, fluffy texture.
