About the Anime
You Can't Be in a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! is a romantic comedy manga series by Shinya Mikisu, serialized in Kodansha's "Magazine Pocket." The story follows Seinosuke Kai (nicknamed "Eu"), a high school first-year who is hopelessly into rom-coms — especially stories involving childhood friends — while being convinced that real-life childhood friends never end up that way. His problem? His two childhood friends, Shio and Akari, are far too cute. And unbeknownst to him, both of them have feelings for him.
