Travel Itinerary

10:20am Naha Airport（那覇空港）

Departure by bus at Naha Airport! Thank goodness we can take the bus directly to our next destination, Churaumi Aquarium.As many as 30 buses a day run from Naha Airport to Churaumi Aquarium. It is easily accessible.

Naha Airport is located in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture. It is used by many people as a starting point for travel. In addition to the traditional purposes of travel and transportation, there are many stores and restaurants in the area.

12:15pm Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium（沖縄美ら海水族館）

The first place we came to was Churaumi Aquarium.It was fun to see fish swimming around from various angles in the famous large tank and the zone with a ceiling tank as well!

Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, located in Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa Prefecture, is an aquarium in Ocean Expo Park and a popular tourist spot visited by many people. The theme of the aquarium is “Encounters with the Okinawan Sea,” and visitors can encounter a wide variety of living creatures. The highlight of the aquarium is the large tank, which is one of the largest in the world. The whale sharks swimming in the tank are a sight to behold.

Fukugiya（フクギ屋）

Lunch at Fukugiya, where you can enjoy Okinawa soba! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is warm and woody. There are many kinds of Okinawa soba, a specialty of the restaurant. Other Okinawan dishes are also available.

This time I ordered Aasa (Sea lettus) Soba! Arthur means seaweed in the Okinawan dialect, and the arthur broth was deliciously mixed with the Okinawan soba noodles ✨

Fukugiya is located in Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa Prefecture, and operates as a restaurant. The restaurant has a warm wooden atmosphere, and its specialty is Okinawan soba noodles. There is a wide variety of soba dishes. aasa means seaweed in the Okinawan dialect, and the soup stock from the aasa is very tasty with the Okinawa soba.

1:30pm Bise no Fukugi Tree Road（備瀬のフクギ並木）

A veritable green tunnel.It was so beautiful to see the ocean at the end of the tunnel!I took a walk to explore and it was nice to be surrounded by greenery all around ✨

End of Fukugi Tree Road

Located in Bise, Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa Prefecture, Bise no Fukugi Tree Road is a 1-km tree-lined avenue leading to Bisezaki. The sea that spreads out after passing through the green tunnel is beautiful, and exploring the area while taking a walk is recommended. A sightseeing car is also available, and the emotional scenery soothes the hearts of many visitors.

4:00pm Royal View Hotel Churaumi（ロイヤルビューホテル美ら海）

The hotel room we stayed in this time was in the annex, a short walk from the main building. You can see the Churaumi Aquarium right next door! The room had an aquarium theme, and the fish motifs scattered throughout the room were adorable✨

I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant on the second day.

Hanasaki Marche is a commercial facility with cafes and stores.You can come to the market by crossing the hallway connected to the Starbucks.

It’s kind of fun to feel as if you are strolling in a foreign city! There are all kinds of stores in the market.
