During the day, visitors flock here for hiking, temple visits, and local specialties such as soba noodles and miso-marinated pork rice bowls. In the evening, the atmosphere becomes quieter and more relaxed. Around Chichibu Station and Seibu-Chichibu Station, you'll find a number of izakayas and eateries frequented by locals, making it possible to enjoy bar hopping at two or three venues within walking distance. While there is no large entertainment district, the charm lies in the warm, welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy drinks and food at a leisurely pace. Outside the city center, dining options are limited, so those seeking nightlife are best off staying near the stations. Experience the simple yet heartwarming nightlife unique to Chichibu.
