Along the Sea of Japan coast in towns like Hamada and Masuda, seafood izakayas highlight the freshest catches with local sake. Even in historic areas like Iwami Ginzan or hot spring towns such as Tamatsukuri, small izakayas provide relaxed drinking experiences.
