When it comes to food, the region is famous for fresh seafood including Ise lobster, abalone, and oysters, which can be enjoyed at local izakayas and restaurants. Around Ise Station, there are clusters of izakayas and eateries where casual bar hopping between two or three places is possible within walking distance. In contrast, Shima and Kashikojima are more resort-oriented, with hotels and ryokan being the main options, so nighttime dining and drinking opportunities are limited—better suited for enjoying a relaxed evening at a single place.     
We offer a photography program that guides visitors to some of Ise-Shima's most sacred and scenic destinations. Conducted by highly qualified photographers, our program accommodates your travel schedule, capturing natural compositions and identifying ideal photo spots across this spiritually significant region. (Please share your preferred location with us!) Discover the mystical beauty of Japan's spiritual heartland with the ancient cedar groves approaching Ise Grand Shrine, the iconic Meoto-iwa (married rocks) at sunrise creating perfect silhouettes, and the breathtaking Ago Bay Rias coastline with its layered island patterns visible from Yokoyama Observatory's panoramic viewing decks. Photography sessions are available anywhere in Ise-Shima and can be booked up to 3 days in advance. We'll arrange for an English/Japanese-speaking photographer. The original 100+ photo files are delivered within a week, and you can select your favorite 10 photos for re-delivery. Corrections are made to evoke a specific atmosphere, and if desired, adjustments can be made to mood and color.
