ABEMA is holding a "Daily Life & Youth Anime Free Weekend Festival," offering free full-episode marathon screenings of six selected slice-of-life and coming-of-age anime series. The event runs from June 5 (Friday) to June 21 (Sunday), 2026, with broadcasts scheduled every weekend.
The lineup features a mix of comedy series celebrating the humor in everyday life and heartwarming stories about the bonds and brilliance of youth. The six series are: Nichijou, a surreal comedy following the distinctive everyday lives of high school girls; Is the Order a Rabbit?, centered on girls at a café called Rabbit House; Hyouka, a bittersweet school mystery blending youth and puzzle-solving; Mikakunin de Shinkoukei, a heartfelt romantic comedy about a peculiar living arrangement between a fiancée and an elementary-school sister-in-law; Edomae Elf, about the friendship between an elf from the Edo era and a modern shrine maiden; and A Place Further Than the Universe, a coming-of-age story following high school girls on a journey to Antarctica.
Each series will be broadcast in full for free during the event, and all aired episodes will remain free to watch for one week after the broadcast (two weeks for select titles).
