ABEMA Hosts Popup Event for TV Anime "Togen Anki" in Tokyo and Osaka

ABEMA, known as "the new future of television," is hosting a popup event titled "TV Anime Togen Anki POP UP STORE" for the popular TV anime "Togen Anki." The event will take place at SHIBUYA109 Shibuya in Tokyo from October 24 (Friday) to November 3 (Monday), 2025. Additionally, the Osaka venue will be held at Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store from November 20 (Thursday) to December 2 (Tuesday), 2025.

About Togen Anki

"Togen Anki" is a manga series by Yura Urushibara currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten). Based on the well-known Japanese folktale "Momotaro," the story depicts the conflict between descendants of demons and descendants of Momotaro. The manga has surpassed 4.5 million copies in circulation. The "Togen Anki Project" launched in June 2023, with a stage play as the first installment, a TV anime as the second, and a smartphone game as the third. The TV anime's first cour, the Kyoto Arc, started airing in July 2025, garnering significant attention.

Event Highlights

The popup store features the main characters dressed in visual kei band costumes against a sparkling stage backdrop. Various exhibitions and exclusive merchandise with original illustrations will be available for purchase. The original illustrations showcase seven characters—Shiki Ichinose, Naito Mudano, Jin Kogasaki, Ikari yaoroshi, Juji Yusurube, Kiriyama rokuro, and Kyoya Oiranzaka—each holding musical instruments such as microphones and guitars.

Merchandise includes acrylic stands, hologram can badges, instant photo films, and stickers. The event also features life-size panels of the original illustrations, mini character displays, and photo panels from memorable anime scenes, allowing visitors to enjoy commemorative photography with the characters.

TV Anime Streaming on ABEMA

The TV anime "Togen Anki" is currently streaming on ABEMA every Friday at 12:00 AM (midnight), featuring the fastest domestic release. The latest episodes are available for free on the "ABEMA Anime Channel," with advance streaming on "ABEMA Premium" and "ABEMA Premium with Ads." From the following Saturday at 12:00 AM (midnight), the latest episode becomes available for free streaming, allowing viewers to watch all episodes anytime.
