Bag manufacturer Ace Co., Ltd. has launched "Silpack," a new backpack from its bag and luggage brand "ace." The minimalist design features a lightweight body packed with multiple pockets and essential functions, making it suitable for both business and casual use.
The product is now available at directly managed stores, online stores, and major department stores and specialty shops nationwide starting February 20, 2026.
Development Background
According to a business bag survey conducted by ace., the four most important factors when purchasing are "just-right size," "durability," "functionality," and "lightness."
Silpack was developed with a focus on "lightness" while also considering "just-right size" and "functionality."
By redesigning the structure and reducing core materials, the bag achieves lightweight construction (small: 650g, medium: 700g, large: 750g). The same design is available in three sizes, allowing users to choose the size that fits them best.
Additionally, it features versatile storage pockets and a universal harness based on ergonomics, providing "just-right" usability for each user.

High Organization with Multiple Storage Pockets
The main compartment includes pen holders, mesh pockets, zipper pockets, flap pockets, and bottle holders. It also features a PC sleeve (※) accessible from both the side zipper and main compartment for enhanced convenience.
Furthermore, independent pockets on both front sides, easy-access side pockets, and a top pocket utilizing otherwise wasted space provide versatile storage options for different purposes.

Universal Harness for Body Fit
The ergonomically designed universal harness provides comfortable carrying. The harness shape, attachment position, and angle were determined from actual measurement data to fit a wide range of users.
Additionally, an adjustable and removable chest belt enhances the fit, prevents the bag from slipping off shoulders, and reduces the burden from weight.
Comfortable Air Mesh
The back panel and reverse side of the universal harness feature air mesh material. This prevents stuffiness in areas touching the body and provides comfortable carrying. The mesh surface is finished to be smooth and less rough, minimizing fabric wear from friction.
Setup Function for Business Trips and Travel
The bag features a setup function that can be attached to a suitcase pull-drive handle.
This prevents the bag from swaying during travel and makes movement more comfortable.
