APNL is an indoor gardening brand from ビーズ株式会社 (headquartered in Higashiosaka, Osaka Prefecture), the company behind the outdoor brand DOD and the gaming furniture brand Bauhutte.
This article focuses on autumn, when plants are still growing, and introduces two ways of caring for agave and haworthia depending on the condition of each plant: starting "from the soil" or starting "from the leaves."
Is Preparing for Winter Too Late Once It Turns Cold?
Just as a person's body does not change dramatically the day after eating one nutritious meal, a plant does not fill out the moment it is fertilized. It takes time to grow leaves and roots using the nutrients it has taken in.
That is why it is worth starting winter care in autumn, while the plant is still active and before it gets properly cold and growth slows down.
Plants that are still growing use nutrients to build leaves and roots. One of them is amino acids, the building blocks of protein.
APNL products come pre-blended with 18 types of amino acids derived from eggshell membrane, based on the idea of supplying in advance the materials the plant uses for growth.
For Plants That Are Still Growing, Start with the Soil
"Tlamani Root" and "Haoradix" are no-dilution liquid fertilizers for agave and haworthia, blending fertilizer components with 18 types of eggshell membrane-derived amino acids.
One push goes straight onto the soil. While watching the condition of each plant, small amounts can be applied only to the plants that need it.

For Plants Where You Want to Avoid Feeding at the Base, Start with the Leaves
"Sierra Gleam" and "Haofolia" are plant vitalizers that can be sprayed directly onto the leaf surface. They contain no N-P-K and instead blend 18 types of eggshell membrane-derived amino acids with various minerals such as magnesium, iron, and calcium.
The design also suits situations where feeding at the base of the plant is best avoided, such as after repotting or for plants whose roots are a concern.

Getting Through the Cold Winter in the Best Possible Condition
There is a limit to what can be done once winter arrives. The idea is to make use of autumn, while the plants are still active, and start winter care early.
For agave, care made for agave.
For haworthia, care made for haworthia.
APNL offers liquid fertilizers and vitalizers for agave and haworthia respectively.
