The Apothecary Diaries, a beloved series with over 45 million copies sold, is getting its first-ever official recipe book. The Apothecary Diaries: Maomao's Recipe Collection will be released on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
The book compiles recipes for dishes that appeared throughout the story — from the chocolate Maomao crafted at Jinshi's request for a "love potion," to the ice dessert that symbolizes her friendship with Xiaolan and Shisui. All recipes have been fully supervised by original author Hinata Natsu.
Cover Revealed
The cover art is a newly drawn illustration by Shino Touko, the illustrator behind the original novel series. It depicts Maomao slipping away from a banquet to prepare the ice dessert at Jinshi's request, while Jinshi waits for the finished treat.

Exclusive Short Stories
