Captain Tsubasa and the 11 Episodes Exhibition Opens in Katsushika
Celebrating 45 Years Since the Manga's Debut
To mark the 45th anniversary of the manga "Captain Tsubasa," an exhibition opens featuring 11 "Tsubasa fans," including original creator Yoichi Takahashi, Nankatsu SC General Manager Masayuki Okano (former Japanese national team player known as "Yajin"), former professional soccer player Shinji Ono, and actress Yuka Kageyama, known as one of Japan's top soccer enthusiasts. The exhibition introduces how each person was influenced by "Captain Tsubasa" and features memorable scenes that continue to resonate with them.
During the exhibition period, various events will be held, including exchange events with Nankatsu SC players, workshops by Tokyo University of Science's community contribution circle "Kana Labo," and "BEYBLADE X CASUAL BATTLE DAY IN Captain Tsubasa and the 11 Episodes Exhibition," an official event by TAKARA TOMY, the toy company headquartered in Katsushika.

(1) February 1: Nankatsu SC Participates in "Setsubun" Event!
Nankatsu SC, aiming for the J-League from Katsushika, participates in a bean-throwing event in the ward. Masayuki Okano, who serves as Nankatsu SC's General Manager and is known as "Yajin" (former Japanese national team player), and Head Coach Kenji Takagi will appear dressed as "Nankatsu Blue Demon."
Kameari Katori Shrine Setsubun Festival with All 2026 Nankatsu SC Players and Manager
Date: February 1 (Sun), 2026, around 2:00 PM
Venue: Kameari Katori Shrine (3-42-24 Kameari, Katsushika-ku)
At the Setsubun Festival (3:00 PM session) held at Kameari Katori Shrine, where Nankatsu SC holds its annual prayer for victory, all Nankatsu SC players, Manager Kazama, and GM Iwamoto will take the special stage to throw fortune beans and sweets, brightening and enlivening the community!
Prayer for Victory & Setsubun Festival Schedule
- 12:00 PM - Nankatsu SC merchandise booth opens
- 3:00 PM - Nankatsu Blue Demon starts
- 3:20 PM - Players and staff chase the demons onto the stage to defeat them. Candy distribution begins
- 3:40 PM - Candy distribution ends
- 3:45 PM - Group photo of all Nankatsu SC members in front of the main hall
- 4:30 PM - Booth closes
(2) Play with Nankatsu SC Players! Soccer Exchange Event ⚽
Join Nankatsu SC players, who aim for J-League entry from Katsushika, in balloon keepy-uppy and mini soccer games. Even those new to soccer can enjoy this fun, interactive event.

(3) Workshop by Tokyo University of Science Community Contribution Circle "Kana Labo"
Students from "Kana Labo," a community contribution circle at Tokyo University of Science located in Kanamachi, Katsushika, will host soccer-themed workshops.

(4) BEYBLADE X CASUAL BATTLE DAY IN Captain Tsubasa and the 11 Episodes Exhibition
In Katsushika, the birthplace of "BEYBLADE," an official exchange event for the latest series "BEYBLADE X" will be held! Experience "BEYBLADE X" and receive a "BEYBLADE X × Nankatsu SC Collaboration Sticker." Participate in winning streak battles where you can win Nankatsu SC goods and enjoy free battles.
