A new smartphone game based on the globally popular soccer anime Captain Tsubasa has launched worldwide. Captain Tsubasa: My Golden XI (nicknamed "マイイレ") is now available for download on app stores, inspired by Captain Tsubasa (2018) and Captain Tsubasa Season 2: Junior Youth Arc.

About Captain Tsubasa
Captain Tsubasa is a landmark soccer manga by Yoichi Takahashi, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump beginning in 1981. It depicts the growth of Tsubasa Ozora and his friends, and is widely known for inspiring many famous professional soccer players around the world. The series has sold over 90 million copies globally.
The sequel series, Captain Tsubasa Rising Sun FINALS, is currently being serialized exclusively on Shueisha's new portal site "Captain Tsubasa WORLD." The series celebrated its 45th anniversary on March 31, 2026, and continues to inspire soccer fans everywhere.
The anime adaptation Captain Tsubasa aired from April 2, 2018 to April 1, 2019, followed by Captain Tsubasa Season 2: Junior Youth Arc, which aired from October 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. The anime has been broadcast worldwide in numerous languages including English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Arabic.
