Chaos Zero Nightmare Adds Galactic Disaster Season 4 Story "The Scythe That Only Takes" and New ★5 Fighter Olga

Smilegate Megaport (Smilegate) rolled out an update to its self-published roguelike RPG Chaos Zero Nightmare, developed by SUPER CREATIVE, on September 9 (Wednesday). The update adds Galactic Disaster Season 4's new story chapter "The Scythe That Only Takes" and a new ★5 fighter, Olga.

Galactic Disaster Season 4 Adds New Story "The Scythe That Only Takes"

A new story chapter, "The Scythe That Only Takes," has been added as the third chapter of Galactic Disaster Season 4.

In this story, the captain and crew, chasing clues tied to a threat against First, venture into the Chaos of the planet Pagna, and a new chapter of their journey unfolds.

As they make their way through an ever-shifting labyrinth, the crew encounters a mysterious pursuer named Olga. As the story progresses, the mysterious power held by the captain and the secrets hidden in their past are gradually revealed.

Alongside the new story, the Tertiary Supply Shop has also opened, offering various rewards such as Signal Amplifier Anchors, which can be used to acquire characters, and core-type items.

New ★5 Fighter Olga & New Partner Emily Added

Olga, who appears as the mysterious pursuer in the new story, has been implemented as a new ★5 fighter.

Belonging to the Psionic class under the Instinct attribute, Olga specializes in applying "Fissure" and "Pain" to enemies through her signature cards, dealing damage over time.

The simultaneously added new partner Emily increases the assigned fighter's attack power, and when the assigned fighter applies "Fissure" through a card, also increases both crit rate and damage dealt by "Fissure."

Memory Fragment Auto-Management & Remote Extraction Improve Convenience

This update adds several convenience features for a more comfortable playing experience.

Memory Fragments, the fighters' equipment, now support an auto-management feature that automatically locks or discards them based on conditions set at the time of acquisition. This allows for more efficient management of large numbers of Memory Fragments.

A new "Remote Extraction" feature has also been added to the roguelike content Sortie. Remote Extraction lets players skip play and receive rewards in exchange for reduced rewards compared to normal play.

This feature becomes available after clearing the deeper stages of Hardcore Mode, and the relevant play records reset every three weeks.

New Illustration Archive Feature Added

An "Illustration Archive" feature has been added, allowing players to look back at any time on illustrations viewed during story and event progression.

Illustrations registered in the archive can be viewed again in-game and can also be set as the home screen background.

Commemorative Event Celebrates the New Story

To celebrate the launch of the new story "The Scythe That Only Takes," a limited-time story event will run through September 30.

In the event, players take on the role of a bartender, mixing cocktails for visiting customers while uncovering their true feelings through conversation. The story's development and ending change depending on the player's choices.

An "Olga's Secret Diary" event will also run during the same period. Completing daily missions yields rewards such as crystals and various growth currencies.
