Six new travel-ready items featuring the hit character Chiikawa have arrived from Shobido, the Tokyo-based company behind cosmetics, cosmetic accessories, fashion accessories, and character goods. The second installment of the Chiikawa Travel Series, based on illustrator Nagano's popular manga Chiikawa, launched on September 18, 2026.
Following the first installment, the long-awaited second lineup once again comes in all five character designs: Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, Momonga, and Furuhonya. Alongside a luggage tag, folding slippers, a tire cover, and a carry-on bag, the series adds two new items: a drink holder that attaches to a suitcase's handle, and a zippered anti-theft scrunchie that can hold valuables and be worn on the wrist or used to tie up hair. That brings the collection to six items in total, with the folding slippers and anti-theft scrunchie made from a textured waffle-knit fabric. Beyond their cute looks, the pieces are designed to be genuinely useful items to bring along on a trip.
