Cookie Run: Kingdom Kicks Off Its Biggest-Ever Collaboration with KPop Demon Hunters

Cookie Run: Kingdom has launched a collaboration with the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters (abbreviated "Kadehan"). Described as the largest collaboration in the game's history, the event brings together the globally popular Cookie Run IP—with over 300 million cumulative downloads—and the animated film that helped fuel the global K-culture wave. The collaboration runs through May 7, 2026.

The world of KPop hunters battling demons to protect the Honmoon aligns naturally with Cookie Run: Kingdom's own story of cookies defending their kingdom from darkness, making for a well-matched crossover.

Huntrix Joins Cookie Run: Kingdom as Playable Cookies (3 Types)

Huntrix—the KPop group at the center of KPop Demon Hunters, whose members secretly live double lives as hunters protecting the world—arrives as playable cookies in Cookie Run: Kingdom.

Lumi Cookie (Ambush Type) is the unwavering center of Huntrix. Her skill grants a Fan Cheer buff to allies before charging toward the farthest enemy, slashing multiple times with the Tiger Sword and finishing with a ground-slam attack.

Mira Cookie (Charge Type) is the group's main dancer. She swings a massive curved blade to deal damage to surrounding enemies, then releases a shockwave that stuns them.

Zoe Cookie (Ranged Type) brings rapid-fire attacks like speed-rap lyrics. Her skill grants the Fan Cheer buff to Huntrix members before leaping into the air to hurl the Divine Blade.

The demon boy group Saja Boys and the fan-favorite duo Durpy & Susie also appear as GUEST Cookies. Korean voice acting for Huntrix and Saja Boys is handled by the original KPop Demon Hunters cast, including Shin Na-Ri and Min Seung-woo.

Three Huntrix Cookie Skins (Golden Version) and five Saja Boys Skins (Grim Reaper Costume) are also available, faithfully recreating the film's visual style.

The KPop Demon Hunters Story Continues in Cookie Run: Kingdom

A collaboration-exclusive special episode, "Huntrix's Concert Opens in the Cookie Kingdom!", follows Huntrix and the Dark Cacao warriors as they face off against the Saja Boys and demons who have invaded the Dark Cacao Kingdom. Huntrix sets out to hold a concert to power up the Cookie Kingdom's Honmoon, but demons who have made a pact with Gwima and disguised themselves as idols stand in their way.

Ten themed decorations inspired by scenes from KPop Demon Hunters, recreated in Cookie Run: Kingdom's signature style, also make their debut. These include the Golden Stage from the film's climax, the castle wall path where Lumi and Jinu first met, and the pastel-toned Soda Pop Stage. Placing the stage and four specific decorations in the kingdom unlocks cookie interactions that let players listen to OSTs including "Golden," "Soda Pop," and "Your Idol."

Additional in-game content introduced in the update includes:

  • Challenge! Gwima Mayhem – Catch Gwima to the beat of KPop Demon Hunters OSTs
  • Endless Survival: Huntrix Live – Survive alongside Huntrix
  • Durpy's Spike Bug Bash – A mini-game featuring the lovable Durpy
  • Lumi Cookie's Durpy Durpy Jump!! – Another Durpy-centered mini-game

Collaboration Merchandise Giveaway

To celebrate the collaboration, a merchandise giveaway event is underway. Players who take part in the collaboration mini-games or decorate their kingdoms with collaboration-themed decorations and post a verification comment on social media can enter a raffle for a goods package featuring illustrations of Huntrix, Saja Boys, and Durpy & Susie. The package includes acrylic stand keychains (3 designs), a square memo pad, and card stickers (3 designs).
