The manga Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday (Shogakukan), with story by Kanehito Yamada and art by Tsukasa Abe. Set in the world after the hero's party has defeated the Demon King, it follows Frieren, a mage who has lived for more than a thousand years and fought alongside the hero, and the journey she takes with the people she newly meets. The comic series currently stands at 15 volumes, with worldwide circulation exceeding 35 million copies. The TV anime adaptation's second season aired from January 16 to March 27, 2026, and drew major attention with every episode. Season 3 (黄金郷編, the Golden Land Arc) has been confirmed to air starting in October 2027.
A new lineup of merchandise based on the series has now been announced. The items use cute, newly drawn illustrations of the plush toy familiar from social media, applied to standard everyday goods. They can be displayed or carried around, offering a relaxed, gentle and adorable Frieren that fans can enjoy up close.
In addition, pre-orders are open for a reissue of the "T-shirt Collection," a series of collaboration T-shirts offered through "Space A la mode," the apparel and general goods area of Animate.
The items are currently available for pre-order at Animate stores nationwide, the Animate online shop, Movic mail order and other outlets.
