A summer festival that brings back the nostalgic feel of the Heisei era is coming to the glamping facility GLAMP DOME Ise-Kashikojima in Shima City, Mie Prefecture. The "Heisei Retro Summer Festival" — themed "The Summer of Those Days Is Back!" — runs from July 25 (Sat) to August 31 (Mon), 2026, exclusively for overnight guests.

With that in mind, GLAMP DOME Ise-Kashikojima is combining two summer staples — the classic Japanese "natsu matsuri" (summer festival) and "Heisei culture" — for its Heisei Retro Summer Festival.
