Naruto Taiyaki Honpo is teaming up with the anime Haikyu!! for a limited-time collaboration. From September 18 (Friday) to October 17 (Saturday), the taiyaki chain's 25 stores nationwide, along with a special website, will offer original collaboration goods.

During the collaboration, customers who purchase taiyaki will receive an original single-fish bag (free) or an original gift box (paid), and collaboration merchandise will be available for purchase at each store. Three stores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Sendai — Ikebukuro Nishi-guchi, Osaka Nihonbashi, and Sendai Ichibancho — will also feature special decorations such as original noren curtains and mini character panels.
The collaboration goods span a wide lineup, including plush toys, can badges, clear cards, and acrylic stands. Built around the concept of "After-School Taiyaki Time," the merchandise features newly drawn original artwork of all 16 characters — including Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama Tobio — imagining an after-school moment where they stop by the taiyaki shop still in their uniforms right after club activities.

Merchandise Lineup
Customers who purchase eligible taiyaki at participating stores can purchase the collaboration merchandise. The event runs in two parts, first half and second half, each featuring a different lineup of character goods.
- First Half A (September 18 to October 1): 8 characters — Hinata Shoyo, Kageyama Tobio, Oikawa Tooru, Iwaizumi Hajime, Aone Takanobu, Futakuchi Kenji, Ushijima Wakatoshi, and Tendou Satori

Original Wrapping and Gift Box
Customers who purchase eligible taiyaki at participating stores will receive an original single-fish bag in the collaboration design at no charge. The eligible flavor changes by period:
- September 18 (Friday) to September 27 (Sunday): Tokachi red bean
- September 28 (Monday) to October 7 (Wednesday): Premium custard
- October 8 (Thursday) to October 17 (Saturday): Naruto Kintoki sweet potato
An original gift box for 5 to 6 taiyaki in the collaboration design will also be available for purchase at participating stores throughout the collaboration period.

About the Anime Haikyu!!
Serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump for eight and a half years starting in February 2012, Haruichi Furudate's Haikyu!! has sold over 75 million copies in total. The sports manga, a landmark in the genre, follows high schoolers pouring their passion into volleyball. The TV anime adaptation began airing in 2014, and by December 2020 had produced four seasons, drawing not only readers of the original manga but anime fans in Japan and overseas into its excitement.
Four years later, Haikyu!! made its leap to the big screen. Released in February 2024, Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle depicted the showdown between longtime rivals Karasuno High and Nekoma High, and became a major hit with worldwide box office revenue exceeding ¥20 billion. It also won the Award for Excellent Animation of the Year at the Japan Academy Film Prize, cementing its place as one of the most talked-about sports anime today.
