Born in Hayama on March 8, 2022—"Mimosa Day"—HAYAMA AROMANCE's brand name combines "AROMA (fragrance)" and "ROMANCE (story)" into a coined term, embodying the concept of "fragrance with a story."
The brand draws inspiration from the beautiful landscapes of the French Riviera and Hayama, connecting these regions through a shared theme of fragrance, incorporating their scenery, history, and culture. The layered scents that unfold through the changing seasons are woven like fabric into what can be called "Kaori" (fragrance weaving).
On January 25, 2026 (Sunday), HAYAMA AROMANCE will release "The Birth of Venus" from the room fragrance collection "LAYERED AROMA SOUND."

"AROMA SOUND" is a series born from a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Japanese sensibility of "listening to fragrance" (mon-kō), created by layering music and scent. It emerged from the philosophy that both fragrance and music spread through space and eventually fade away, finding beauty in this transience.
"LAYERED AROMA SOUND" is a collection where perfumer Hinao Mori creates fragrances while listening to "SOUND"—a fusion of music and scent.
The newly announced "The Birth of Venus" is a special fragrance born from a story that begins with a single painting. Botticelli's masterpiece, "The Birth of Venus," inspired composer Respighi to create the famous musical piece "Trittico Botticelliano." Mori then transformed this music into fragrance, creating "The Birth of Venus."

The Mythical Beauty of Venus
Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, born from sea foam and arriving at shore on a shell. The breath of spring carried by Zephyrus, god of the west wind, and Flora, goddess of flowers. This mythical and poetic scene is gently expressed through fragrance.
Galbanum and violet paint fresh green notes, quietly filling the space with a soft hint of spring. Then ylang-ylang, jasmine, and pink rose layer together into a floral bouquet symbolizing love and beauty.
