About Hazbin Hotel
Hazbin Hotel is an animated musical series created by Vivienne Medrano. Set in an overcrowded Hell, the story follows Princess Charlie, who runs a rehabilitation facility called the Hazbin Hotel — aiming to redeem sinners so they can ascend to Heaven and peacefully resolve the overpopulation problem. Charlie and her companions also work to stop the annual "Extermination," in which angels cull the demon population.
The pilot episode debuted on YouTube in 2019, surpassing 100 million views and gaining worldwide attention. A TV series was announced in 2020 and began streaming on Amazon Prime Video in January 2024. The Japanese dubbed version was also released, sparking a surge of fans in Japan — with "Hazbin Hotel" trending on X.
