holo Indie Resumes New Game Submissions Starting May 1, Transitioning to Seasonal System

holo Indie, the hololive Production fan-made game brand, has reopened submissions for new titles starting May 1, 2026. The reopening also marks a shift to a new seasonal application system, replacing the previous year-round format.

New Application System

New title submissions had been on hold since February 26, 2026, while the brand's review process was being restructured. With that overhaul now complete, submissions resumed on May 1.

Going forward, applications will be accepted three times a year under a seasonal format, with intake periods set for January, May, and September — each lasting approximately one month.

Outside of official intake windows, applications may also be accepted in person at events and exhibitions where holo Indie participates.

The current application period runs from May 1 to May 31, 2026 (Japan Standard Time). Full submission details are available on the holo Indie entry page: https://ccmc-corp.com/entry/

Behind the Transition

holo Indie aims to co-create new forms of play and community alongside fans and creators who support hololive Production. The team has received entries from a wide range of creators, and the variety and potential of hololive Production fan-made games has made a strong impression.

The move to a seasonal format was designed to allow the team to give more careful attention to each submitted title and raise the quality of both the review process and creator feedback. Under this new framework, holo Indie plans to continue supporting creators' ongoing work and to bring a diverse range of fan-made hololive Production games to audiences around the world.
