Kagoshima Tourism Campaign "Kagonmarvelous" to Run from March 12 to June 30, 2026

To mark the 15th anniversary of the full opening of the Kyushu Shinkansen and the start of Sanyo-Kyushu Shinkansen through-service, JR Kyushu and JR West are launching a Kagoshima tourism campaign titled "Kando! Futatabi! Kagonmarvelous" (感動!ふたたび!かごんまーベラス). Organized in cooperation with Kagoshima Prefecture and the Kagoshima Prefectural Tourism Association, the campaign runs from March 12 (Thu) to June 30 (Tue), 2026.

Campaign Overview

  • Campaign Name: "Kando! Futatabi! Kagonmarvelous" (感動!ふたたび!かごんまーベラス)
  • Period: March 12 (Thu) to June 30 (Tue), 2026

  • Partners: Kagoshima Prefecture, Kagoshima Prefectural Tourism Association

Campaign Activities

1. Stamp Rally: Collect Original Kagomaniac Designs!

A "layered stamp rally" will be held for visitors touring Kagoshima Prefecture. At each of the four areas — Kagoshima, Ibusuki-Makurazaki, Kirishima, and Izumi-Sendai — four stamps can be layered to reveal a unique original design by Kagomaniac. Collecting all four designs makes participants eligible to win special prizes.

How to Participate:

  1. Pick up a stamp sheet at designated locations in each area (Kagoshima, Ibusuki-Makurazaki, Kirishima, or Izumi-Sendai).
  2. Visit the four stamp locations within the area and layer the stamps to complete the design.
  3. Win prizes based on the number of completed designs (up to four).

Details on stamp locations and entry methods are available in the campaign pamphlet and on the campaign website.
