The idle RPG The King of Fighters AFK has received a summer update, adding a new Legend Fighter, a fresh minigame, and a lineup of limited-time events.
New Limited-Time Fighter: Aqua Splash Style Mai Shiranui
For the Summer Festival only, a new style — "Aqua Splash Style Mai Shiranui" — joins the roster as a Legend Fighter carrying the [Onslaught] synergy. Expect brilliant, powerful combat from Mai Shiranui, heir to the Shiranui-ryu ninjutsu style, dressed for the season.
Alongside her debut, the "Mai Shiranui (Aqua Splash) Seasonal Pickup Summon Event" runs from July 9 to July 23. During the same period, the "[Onslaught] Synergy Pickup Summon Event," which raises the appearance rate of fighters carrying the [Onslaught] synergy, is also underway.
New Minigame: Kensou's Dumpling Delivery
From July 20 to July 29, a new minigame called "Kensou's Dumpling Delivery" is available. In this swinging-action minigame, players swing across ropes to help deliver dumplings. It can be played daily throughout the event period, with rewards earned based on the number of days played.
More Summer Events
The "Lucky Elphie" event runs from July 13 to July 18, giving players a chance to obtain the Legend Supporter "Lenny Creston." The "Splashy Vacation Event," running from July 16 to July 30, introduces new Legend Pets "Umine" and "Berry Bear." A "Hot Summer! Login Event" is also planned from July 16 to August 21, offering an Origin and DNA 5-Piece Selection Box along with a Pickup Legend Fighter Selection Ticket featuring many of the newest fighters.
