Tokyo Game Show 2026 opens September 17 (Thursday), and Konami Digital Entertainment's booth lineup is now set.
This year's Tokyo Game Show 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the event's first edition and runs for a record five days, the longest in the show's history. Konami's booth will feature the first domestic playable showing of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse and the first worldwide playable showing of ワイワイワールド Craft, along with a lineup of other notable titles. The booth also includes the "KONAMI Anniversary to the Future" corner, where visitors can experience the worlds of anniversary series and the latest titles, as well as an immersive theater for SILENT HILL: Townfall.
Highlights of the Booth
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse
Making its first domestic playable appearance, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse lets visitors experience the new story of the vampire-hunting Belmont family and the series' signature whip-based action ahead of its October 15 release. Everyone who tries the demo receives a "Tarot Card Acrylic Stand" (one of six designs, given at random). Visitors who follow the official Castlevania X account and repost its pinned post will also receive an original shopper bag at the venue.
ワイワイワールド Craft
Making its first playable appearance worldwide, ワイワイワールド Craft is a UGC (user-generated content) platform combining creating, playing, and connecting. At the booth, visitors can enjoy the "playing" side of that experience — the official games featured in ワイワイワールド Craft can be played early, offering a first taste of the fun unique to the title. Everyone who tries the demo receives an original T-shirt, and visitors can experience the fun of anyone becoming a game creator with ease.
KONAMI Anniversary to the Future
The "KONAMI Anniversary to the Future" corner traces the history of titles that fans have followed over the years and looks ahead to what comes next. Highlights include special displays marking the 40th anniversary of the widely known hidden command "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA," along with the Castlevania series, the がんばれゴエモン series, the "Success" mode from the パワフルプロ野球 series, and the Suikoden series, plus early looks at the worlds of the brand-new RPG Rev. NOiR and the brand-new action title Rhapsody in Scarlet.
A keyword rally tied to "KONAMI PRESS START," which streamed on September 4, will also take place. Visitors who collect the keywords hidden around the corner and complete the full password will receive an original puffy sticker. One of the keywords is hidden within the "KONAMI PRESS START" episode that streamed at 12:00 AM on Friday, September 4, so be sure to check it out.
In addition, "KONAMI STYLE TGS STORE" returns to the show for the first time in 12 years, selling Konami-related merchandise. Visitors who spend ¥3,000 (tax included) or more will receive an "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA" sticker. A livestream featuring special guests from the TGS venue is also planned, so be sure to visit the Konami Digital Entertainment booth for a wide range of content.

About the Hidden Command "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA"
The widely known hidden command "↑↑↓↓←→←→BA" first appeared in Gradius, a Famicom game released on April 25, 1986, and turned 40 on April 25, 2026. In Gradius, entering the command powers up the player's ship to nearly its strongest configuration. This long yet easy-to-remember hidden command has since been included in many other game titles.
