Bandai Namco Filmworks is releasing the Blu-ray (Special Limited Edition) of LABYRINTH on August 26, 2026, priced at ¥13,200 (tax included). The film is director Shoji Kawamori's latest work, which opened in 233 theaters nationwide on January 1, 2026.
About the LABYRINTH Blu-ray (Special Limited Edition)
This release includes the feature film from the theatrical anime LABYRINTH, which opened nationwide on January 1, 2026.
The bonus disc (1 BD) includes complete footage from three days of stage greeting events featuring director Shoji Kawamori and a lineup of cast members, including SUZUKA (lead vocalist of Atarashii Gakko! [New School Leaders], who plays SHIORI / Shiori Maezawa) and Takuto Teranishi of timelesz (who plays Suguru Kagami). It also includes a complete version of the previously unreleased "Special After Talk" footage between SUZUKA and Teranishi that was shared on official social media, along with individual interview collections featuring SUZUKA, Taizo Harada, and director Kawamori — approximately 100 minutes of bonus footage in total. A special booklet (24 pages) is also included.
The storage case features a newly drawn illustration by character designer Risa Ebata.

Story
Shiori Maezawa is a shy high school student. After a video she filmed with her best friend Kirara becomes the catalyst, she finds herself trapped inside a mysterious world within her smartphone. A talking rabbit-shaped stamp character named Komori appears before her: "You've been trapped — in this Labyrinth."
As Shiori struggles to find her way, a young genius entrepreneur named Suguru Kagami reaches out to her, promising to help her "regain her true self." Meanwhile, back in the real world, another "SHIORI" — dressed in a flashy style — has taken Shiori's place and is freely using social media, aiming to fully become the real Shiori. Kagami also makes contact with SHIORI, whispering to her about "a certain plan." Kagami's true intentions and SHIORI's ambitions eventually spark an incident that draws in the whole world.

About LABYRINTH
LABYRINTH is the first original feature-length anime film from director Shoji Kawamori, known for the distinctive visuals and worldbuilding of hit anime series such as Macross and Aquarion, and who also drew attention for serving as a theme project producer for Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai.
The cast features SUZUKA, lead vocalist of the globally noted group Atarashii Gakko! (New School Leaders); actor Taizo Harada; and Takuto Teranishi, who joined timelesz in 2025 through the "timelesz Project." The screenplay is by Taichi Hashimoto, and character design is by Risa Ebata, who previously worked alongside director Kawamori on Macross Frontier — making the film what could be described as the culmination of Kawamori's body of work.
