Lineage2M, the next-generation open-world RPG from NC Corporation (Headquarters: Pangyo, South Korea; Co-CEOs: Taek-jin Kim and Byungmoo Park), is rolling out updates to its Origin and Reserve worlds during scheduled maintenance on September 9, 2026 (Wed).
New Areas Arrive in Goddard Territory for the Origin World

In the Origin World, three new areas have been added to Goddard Territory: Hot Spring Village, a new home base; and two hunting grounds, Hot Spring Zone and the Everlasting Snow Islands. Items including the legendary accessory Cranbell Ring, the legendary armor Ideos Sigil, and the heroic armor Pioneer's Robe can drop in these new areas based on chance.
The inventory has also been expanded to a maximum of 392 slots, and the UI has been improved so that when players choose to enhance a piece of equipment, the matching enhancement scroll for that equipment is automatically registered.

Reserve World Adds Gloves to Equipment Transcendence Synthesis and the Clan Rift: Returning King's Valley

In the Reserve World, Gloves have been added to the Equipment Transcendence Synthesis system, and the Clan Rift: Returning King's Valley has been implemented.
Gloves have been newly added to the Equipment Transcendence Synthesis system. By synthesizing a grade-matched Transcendence Synthesis Stone onto a heroic-grade or higher pair of Gloves, players can attempt to transcend that item. A successful Gloves transcendence raises stats such as Damage Reduction and Critical according to the transcendence stage reached.
The Clan Rift: Returning King's Valley is a rift dungeon matched daily at 5 AM based on each world's clan activity rankings. Clans ranked 1st to 15th in world clan activity are matched into the Awakened Returning King's Valley, while those ranked 16th to 50th are matched into the Returning King's Valley.
Every Saturday at 10 PM, Gigas appears in the Returning King's Valley, and Awakened Gigas appears in the Awakened Returning King's Valley. Defeating Gigas has a chance to drop items such as the mythic accessory Hardin's Ring and the legendary armor Ideos Sigil.
New legendary skills have also been added for each weapon type, including the Orb's legendary skill Saint Guillotine and the Dagger's legendary skill Death Sign.
In addition, as with the Origin World, the inventory has been expanded to a maximum of 392 slots, and the UI has been improved so that when players choose to enhance a piece of equipment, the matching enhancement scroll for that equipment is automatically registered.
