A Legendary Origin: From 1965 Swedish Ceramics
Salt, Pepper, and Cinnamon are based on "LITEN KATT" (Small Cat), a ceramic series that Lisa Larson created in 1965 while working at the Swedish ceramics manufacturer Gustavsberg alongside art director Stig Lindberg. Produced for only a single year, the originals are now considered rare vintage pieces highly prized by collectors.
More than 60 years later, these iconic forms have been reimagined as softly huggable stuffed animals in Japan — a journey the creators could never have imagined. Skilled craftsmanship has preserved the original silhouettes while achieving an exceptionally soft and tactile finish.
The series extends beyond stuffed animals to include lifestyle items such as salt and pepper shakers and mini towels.
