LoveLive! Series Official Card Game Loveca Fan Meeting Event Report

The LoveLive! Series Official Card Game (known as Loveca) Fan Meeting was held on May 23 (Saturday) and 24 (Sunday), 2026, at TFT Hall 1000 and TFT Hall 500. Here is a look at the highlights from the two-day event.

2nd LoveLive! Masters Tournament — Opening Round

Qualifying rounds for the "2nd LoveLive! Masters Tournament Finals" were held across both days of the event. Before the tournament began, Mayu Sagara (voicing Kasumi Nakasu from Nijigasaki High School Idol Club), Mariya Ideguchi (voicing Emma Verde), and Akina Honmoto (voicing Lanzhu Zhong) appeared in a special video to officially open the competition.

Winners received a spot in the "2nd LoveLive! Masters Tournament Finals," along with a special pink foil-stamped energy card (Chika Takami) and a certificate. Deck recipes from the top three finishers are set to be published on Bushinavi.

Loveca Red vs. White Battle

For the first time, a team battle event split all participants into a "Red Team" and a "White Team." Points were awarded based on each team's number of wins across two rounds, with the team accumulating the higher total winning. Participants on the winning team received a raffle ticket for the special lottery held later during the event.

Expanded 1BOX Live!

In the "Expanded 1BOX Live!" event, all participants opened a newly purchased box of Loveca cards together simultaneously. The last person to pull a PE (Parallel Extra) card — one of which is guaranteed in every box — received a special PR card corresponding to the booster pack they opened. Each session welcomed over approximately 400 participants and proved to be one of the event's most popular features.

8-Person Tournament

Walk-in 8-person tournaments were held without prior registration. Eight players matched on-site competed in a tournament bracket, with the winner and runner-up each receiving a PR card pack and a special lottery ticket. A large number of fans took part in this format across both days.

How to Play Classroom

For those curious about Loveca but unfamiliar with the rules, a How to Play Classroom was held four times per day. The sessions provided a welcoming entry point for newcomers to the game.

Special Lottery

A special lottery — held for the first time at this event — was open to participants who collected raffle tickets through various activities during the Fan Meeting. The grand prize was a hand-signed poster by Nako Misaki (voicing Chisato Arashi from Liella!) and Aya Emori (voicing Natsumi Onitsuka from Liella!).

Exhibition Corner

The exhibition area showcased physical cards from the upcoming "Booster Pack Royal Holiday," set for release on May 30 (Saturday), alongside standees featuring illustrations created exclusively for the Loveca Appreciation Festival.

"NEXT CARD" Official Lyric Video Released

The Love Live! Series cross-unit AiScReam released their new song "NEXT CARD" on May 23 (Saturday) as the Loveca theme song. At around 11:15 AM that day, Aguri Onishi (voicing Ayumu Uehara) appeared via a special video at the event venue to give the world premiere of the lyric video.

The song is performed by a new AiScReam lineup consisting of Ayumu Uehara, Shiki Wakana, Ceres Lillienfeld, and Mai Azabu. Built around the imagery of cards and a hand of cards, the track explores the thrill of romantic intrigue, while the lyric video brings the four distinctive personalities to life through a pop and vibrant visual style.

Loveca Appreciation Festival 2027 Announced

During the event, the Loveca Appreciation Festival 2027 was officially announced. The upcoming event promises a variety of ways to enjoy Loveca. The latest information will be shared on the official Loveca website and official X account.

About the LoveLive! Series Official Card Game

The LoveLive! Series Official Card Game — known as Loveca — is a trading card game featuring school idols and songs from the Love Live! Series. With cards for more than 50 members, the lineup includes both iconic costume designs and newly illustrated original artwork, as well as cards featuring cast photos.

In addition to collecting favorite cards, Loveca supports two-player competitive gameplay. Cards fall into three types: Live Cards depicting songs, Member Cards used to make a live performance succeed, and Energy Cards needed to bring members onto the stage.
