For this figure release, original character designer Keiji Gotoh added poses to the source illustration, resulting in a specially drawn composition created specifically for this figure. That new pose — the two Ruri figures holding hands in a dynamic stance — has been faithfully translated into three dimensions.
The sculptors worked to preserve the curved and distinctive design of the original illustration in physical form. The way the hair fans out in the wind and the lively energy of the interlinked pose have been intricately crafted. Details such as hair accessories and shoes feature metallic paint, adding texture accents and a premium feel throughout the piece.
