Maruzen Junkudo Bookstore is launching a special collaboration featuring Shima Rin from the popular anime Laid-Back Camp season 3. The bookstore clerk version of Shima Rin, depicted in exclusive illustrations, will be showcased across six locations with original merchandise and a themed cafe menu.
In the anime, Shima Rin works part-time at a bookstore, and her calm demeanor and diligent work style have become beloved aspects of her character. This collaboration naturally connects the world of the series with real bookstore spaces, offering fans a unique immersive experience.
The collaboration features newly illustrated artwork of Shima Rin in bookstore clerk attire. Three anime-style illustrations and six mini-character illustrations have been created exclusively for this campaign, which will be used on limited-edition original merchandise available at five Maruzen Junkudo locations (Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka) and at Michi no Eki Shimobe, a roadside station connected to Laid-Back Camp.

About Laid-Back Camp season 3
Laid-Back Camp began manga serialization in May 2015. This popular series depicts the camping trips and daily lives of high school girls in Yamanashi Prefecture with a relaxed atmosphere. Following its anime adaptation in 2018, it has expanded across two TV series, one short anime series, and the 2022 film Laid-Back Camp, all achieving major success. In spring 2024, the third TV series, Laid-Back Camp season 3, aired.
