Marvel Games and NetEase Games have announced that Season 10, "Butcher's Blasphemy," of the superhero PVP team shooter Marvel Rivals will begin on Friday, September 11, 2026.
This season introduces new hero Gorr the God Butcher, along with the new map God Quarry, a new Jeff-themed event, and the return of "Galacta's Gift" Vol. 3, among other varied content. In the latter half of the season, Season 10.5, the "Doomsday: Defy Ruin" story continues to unfold, bringing two new game modes.

New Hero: Gorr the God Butcher
Gorr the God Butcher joins Season 10 as a new hero. A god-slayer driven by unwavering conviction, Gorr wields All-Black the Necrosword. In battle, he reshapes All-Black into different forms depending on the situation to corner his enemies. He can also absorb the bodies of defeated enemies, turning them into Black Berserkers that fight under his command. By merging with the symbiote, he can move freely across the battlefield and strike enemies from unexpected angles with lethal blows.
When his Ultimate Ability activates, All-Black transforms into the Annihilablade, commanding every Black Berserker on the battlefield to unleash a merciless assault on the enemy.
New Jeff Event, and the Return of "Galacta's Gift"
Starting September 11, a new "Pajama Party" costume becomes available. On September 18, two new events, Jeff's Dream Eater and Jeff's Superstar Search, will begin. Taking part in these events lets players earn matching costumes for their heroes along with a variety of cosmetic rewards.
Then on September 24, "Galacta's Gift" Vol. 3 returns. Participating in the event earns Costume Coins, and the lineup at the Costume Coin Exchange Store will also be updated with new rewards.
Updated Lineup for College Student Benefits
Season 10 also brings an updated lineup of benefits for college students. Eligible students can verify their status using a university email address to access the latest lineup of 10 costumes and an MVP.
Marvel Rivals IGNITE Series Stage 2 Begins September 17
Stage 2 of the Marvel Rivals IGNITE Series begins on September 17. Twelve teams from four major regions around the world will compete for a spot in the global finals held at the end of the year.
