To mark the 35th anniversary of the TV anime MATCHLESS RAIJIN-OH, "MATCHLESS RAIJIN-OH 35th Anniversary POP UP STORE!" opens at Kotobukiya Akihabara Building's 5th floor event space from August 7 (Friday) through August 16 (Sunday), 2026.
Numerous original goods are on offer for the anniversary, including items featuring newly drawn illustrations of the three main pilots and God Raijin-Oh by Kei Takeuchi (Character Design) and Takahiro Yamada (Mechanic Design), as well as merchandise using scene photos from the series.
Visitors will also receive a "Special Bromide-Style Card" (1 design) as a free gift for every ¥3,000 (tax included) spent per checkout.

About the Anime MATCHLESS RAIJIN-OH
MATCHLESS RAIJIN-OH (51 episodes) aired on TV from April 1991 to March 1992 as the first installment of the "Eldran series." Following the TV series' popularity, a sequel OVA depicting a later story was also produced.
The series follows the members of Class 5-3 at Hinobori Academy, entrusted by Eldran — a warrior of light who has protected Earth since ancient times — with the mission of defending the planet as the "Earth Defense Squad." They pilot the giant transforming combination robots Raijin-Oh and Bakuryu-Oh in intense battles against the villainous Jark Empire.
