New "Momotaro Dentetsu" Stamp Book Lets Travelers Collect Every Stamp From Their Trip in One Book — On Sale August 6

A new stamp book inspired by the long-running "Momotaro Dentetsu" game series is coming to bookstores. Travelers who collect stamps at stations, airports, castles, museums, and tourist information centers — but often end up pressing them onto a random page, or skipping them altogether for lack of space — now have a dedicated book built for the job.

Beyond gathering stamps from the road, the book also includes pages for travel notes, a map of Japan for marking every place visited, and a personal packing checklist, making it a book worth flipping through before, during, and after a trip.

The stamp pages also feature a "hard-to-read place names" quiz that also appears in the game Momotaro Dentetsu 2: Anata no Machi mo Kitto Aru, letting travelers build their own travel record with ease. Sized to fit easily in a bag, the book uses interleaving paper that absorbs ink, so pages can be closed and packed away right after stamping without waiting for the ink to dry.

Whether traveling solo, with friends, or with family, the book is designed to be enjoyed by travelers of any age.

About the "Momotaro Dentetsu" Series

"Momotaro Dentetsu" (published by KONAMI) is a board-game-style video game in which players become company presidents, traveling across Japan to buy up properties in pursuit of the largest total assets. Since the first title launched for the Family Computer in 1988, the series has sold more than 20.10 million copies combined (as of the end of March 2026) and has been enjoyed by players of all ages for over 37 years.

Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban!, released in November 2020 for Nintendo Switch, became a hit with more than 4 million copies sold, popular as a game that could be enjoyed alone, with family, or online. The series has also been adapted into the digital educational material Momotaro Dentetsu Kyoiku-ban Lite: Nihon tte Omoshiroi!, provided free of charge to schools since February 2023.

In November 2023, Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyu wa Kibou de Mawatteru!, set on a global stage, surpassed 1.5 million copies sold. Momotaro Dentetsu 2: Anata no Machi mo Kitto Aru, the largest entry in the series to date with dual "Eastern Japan" and "Western Japan" maps, was released on November 13, 2025, and has already shipped over 1 million copies.
