Fiskars Japan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), which operates the Finnish lifestyle brand Moomin Arabia, will release new collections Sweethearts and Loving Care from the Classic Series on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
Born from the 30th anniversary of the beloved Love mug, these collections are developed based on Moomin Arabia's 2026 theme of "Love," expressing various forms of love that appear in the Moomin stories from different perspectives.
Each collection features a lineup centered on ceramic items such as 0.3L mugs, bowls, and plates.

Sweethearts: A Relationship That Deepens Through Forgiveness
The Sweethearts collection is designed with inspiration from three comic strips by Tove Jansson and her brother Lars Jansson: Moominsummer Madness (1958), Moomin's Desert Island (1958), and Moomin and the Sea (1959), featuring Moomin and the Snork Maiden as lovers.
In the story, it is revealed that what Moomin thought was a ship's log describing mermaid fantasies was actually the Snork Maiden's diary. This incident creates an emotional misunderstanding between the two, escalating into an argument, but they ultimately reconcile, and the story concludes with a hug.
This series of scenes, depicted humorously and lovingly, symbolizes their "Sweethearts" relationship that deepens through caring for each other and forgiving one another.
The collection's main colors are pastel lilac and pink. Illustrations featuring Moomin and the Snork Maiden, along with flowers, the sun, and trees, are adorned throughout.
Loving Care: The Story of the Moomin Family Connected by Selfless Kindness
The Loving Care collection is inspired by heartwarming adventure episodes from Tove Jansson's comic strips Moomin and the Brigands (1955) and Moomin in Love (1956).
In the story, the Moomin family's picnic develops into a bold rescue operation to save shipwrecked pirates. The two seemingly fearsome pirates are also captivated by Moominmamma's calm and compassionate personality, and eventually begin helping her with gardening.
Although the Moomin family and the pirates have different life purposes and positions, the kindness to care for others is depicted as "love" that seeks no reward, and their appearance symbolizes hope for creating new relationships and leading to a better world.
The collection's main colors are sage green and pale pink. Motifs full of kindness, such as Moomin hugging a tree and the Snork Maiden petting a cat, gently express the worldview of Loving Care.
