ABEMA, "a new future of television," is opening a dedicated TV anime Naruto channel for the first time starting Friday, June 26, 2026, where the entire 720-episode Naruto anime series will be broadcast for free every day.
Naruto is based on the manga by Masashi Kishimoto, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 1999. The story follows Naruto Uzumaki, an outcast ninja who dreams of becoming the Hokage — the top ninja of his village. The TV anime ran for roughly 15 years, amassing a total of 720 episodes across the series. With action-packed battles between colorful ninja characters, the bonds between comrades and family, and a deeply layered story of destiny and growth, the series has attracted a massive following both in Japan and abroad, continuing to captivate fans around the world.
The new Naruto channel on ABEMA will broadcast all 720 TV anime episodes — from Naruto, covering Naruto's childhood, through the sequel Naruto: Shippuden, which follows the ninjas' battles and brings the story to its conclusion — for free every day from the channel's launch on June 26 (Friday) through July 25, 2026 (Saturday).
