The game continues the story of the beloved NEKOPARA romance adventure series, which has sold over 7 million copies worldwide. Planned by original creator Sayori, the title brings back fan-favorite cats from the original series alongside a host of new, colorful cat characters from around the world. A Steam version is also planned for fall 2026.

Merchandise Lineup
A full lineup of brand-new merchandise created exclusively for the exhibition will be on sale.
Signing Event with Sayori for Qualifying Purchases
Visitors who spend ¥3,000 (tax included) or more on related merchandise within the exhibition and request a ticket will receive an entry pass to a signing event with creator Sayori. The event is scheduled at AkibaCO Gallery on Sunday, June 7 after 5:00 PM and Sunday, June 14 after 6:00 PM. At the event, Sayori will hand out a personally signed illustrated shikishi card.
Good Smile Fest 2026 Special Broadcast Featuring NEKOPARA Sekai Connect
A special multi-part broadcast program covering the latest news on various Good Smile Company games will include a dedicated NEKOPARA Sekai Connect segment. The program will feature guest talk segments, live dubbing, and more.

New "Mystery House" Content and Story Update Now Live
An update rolled out on Monday, May 25 added new content and story chapters to the game.
Key Update Highlights
New Cat "Sumomo" Added!
A new cat named "Sumomo" from Sakuragaoka Cat Academy has joined the roster. A Pickup Gacha with increased odds for Sumomo is also now underway.
New Content "Mystery House" Implemented!
"Mystery House," a kitchen car battle mode where all cats team up to take on rivals, is now available. Form multiple squads, defeat as many rivals as possible, and earn Mystery Medals to redeem for kitchen car boards, pops, and other rewards.
Main Story "Sakuragaoka Cat Academy Arc Chapter 3" and New Quests Added!
A new story scenario, "Sakuragaoka Cat Academy Arc Chapter 3," and new main quests have been added. A limited-time "Main Story Addition Campaign" offering rewards including a limited gacha ticket [Sumomo] and discounted training packs is also available for a limited period.
Usability Improvements
A new "Home Screen Background Setting" feature lets users set different backgrounds per favorite cat. Additional improvements include character switching via swipe on the training detail screen, enhanced training effects, and a raised item hold limit.

The Steam version of NEKOPARA Sekai Connect, planned for release in fall 2026, is currently accepting wishlist registrations. Account linking with the smartphone version will be supported. Simplified Chinese language support is also in development for the Steam version.
