The book is packed with knowledge about the ninjutsu and yojutsu — the ninja arts, battle tactics, martial arts, and psychological techniques — employed by students and teachers at the Ninja Academy. Topics range from stealth techniques to combat strategy, offering an engaging read for fans of all ages. The volume also includes newly drawn color manga at the front and additional newly drawn monochrome manga at the end.
Gallery Exhibition at Amako Sobee Manga Gallery
To mark the book's release, an exhibition titled "Nintama no Tomo: Hito no Maki" is planned to take place at the Amako Sobee Manga Gallery in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture. The exhibition is currently scheduled to run from mid-April to the end of August 2026.
Highlights include rare original artwork from the creation process — such as the newly drawn cover illustration and color manga, original monochrome manga pages, ninjutsu explanation panels, and displays of ninja tools. Detailed information on exhibition content and tickets will be announced at a later date.
Nationwide Bookstore Fair
A back-catalog fair has also launched at bookstores across Japan. Participating stores are carrying products featuring a special campaign band marking the series' 10-million-copy milestone. Series purchasers can also receive a "New Doi-sensei Special Illustration Card" as a bonus — an original item exclusive to participating bookstores.
