KADOKAWA has opened the app store pages for Oshi no Ko Puzzle Star, the first official puzzle game for the TV anime Oshi no Ko (scheduled for release in 2026 / developed by NHN / domestic publishing by KADOKAWA), on December 23rd (Tuesday) and started pre-registration.
Oshi no Ko is a work by the spectacular duo of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari that depicts the light and shadow of the entertainment industry. The third season of the TV anime Oshi no Ko is scheduled to air in January 2026. Oshi no Ko Puzzle Star is a puzzle-style smartphone game where characters from Oshi no Ko appear, allowing players to enjoy the world of the series through gameplay. The gameplay involves connecting and clearing blocks to progress through missions, with more powerful items available based on the number of blocks connected. Skills and visual effects change depending on the character card used, and strategic skill usage determines victory or defeat. Additionally, clearing missions allows players to obtain original costume items from the game and enjoy character customization.
Card illustrations are supervised by Kanna Hirayama, who serves as character designer and chief animation director for the Oshi no Ko anime. While utilizing the anime's appeal, more original game illustrations are planned to be added in the future.

Pre-registering on Google Play or the App Store will allow players to receive luxurious in-game items useful for getting a head start when the service begins.
