Starting January 10, 2026, Donguri Republic stores nationwide will release four new "Panda! Go, Panda!" merchandise items featuring designs inspired by "Panda! Go, Panda! The Rainy-Day Circus," the memorable story of Papa Panda and the others meeting Tora-chan, who escaped from the circus.
The "Panda! Go, Panda! Tora-chan Cookie Chopstick Rest" is inspired by the cookies that Pan-chan gave to Tora-chan in the film. Each piece features hand-painted coloring and a textured surface that resembles real cookies, with unique color variations mimicking different baking shades.
Additionally, the collection includes a large handkerchief with a retro and pop design, and a pouch made with red and white striped fabric representing a circus tent, all perfect for everyday use.
Furthermore, the popular color tote bag series welcomes a new Panda! Go, Panda! design. The eye-catching blue fabric features a large Papa Panda design with fluffy three-dimensional sagara embroidery.

About the Animation Film "Panda! Go, Panda!"
"Panda! Go, Panda!" (Original Story and Screenplay by Hayao Miyazaki / Directed by Isao Takahata) is a classic animation film released in 1972 when two pandas arrived at Ueno Zoo, sparking a panda boom across Japan.
The story takes place in a beautiful rural area on the outskirts of Tokyo, Japan.
Mimi-ko lives with her grandmother in a lovely little house that looks like a castle.
Mimi-ko is a free-spirited girl! When something makes her happy, she does her signature handstand.
One day, a panda family joins this household of two. This is how "Panda! Go, Panda!" began.
Mimi-ko becomes a mama to the little panda, and Papa Panda becomes a papa to Mimi-ko.
It's a funny and delightful story.
