Animate and Sega are marking the 30th anniversary of the Persona series with an only shop, fair, and Gratte cafe collaboration, the fourth installment in a year-long project that brings Sega Group IP to Animate stores.
Across more than 140 Animate stores in Japan and overseas, the project showcases eight globally popular IPs from Sega and its group companies through exhibits, merchandise sales, and Gratte cafe collaborations, giving fans a chance to experience each series up close.
For the fourth installment, the "Persona Series 30th Anniversary Animate Fair" runs at stores in Japan and overseas, as well as through Animate's mail order service, from September 2026. Customers receive one clear bookmark (eight designs available) for every ¥1,100 (tax included) spent on purchases or pre-orders of related merchandise.
In addition, the "Persona Series 30th Anniversary Animate Only Shop" rolls out from September at the Ikebukuro Main Store and overseas stores. At participating Gratte stores, fans can also purchase a "Graphic Latte" with a character printed on the cream atop the drink, along with an "Icing Cookie" and "Graphic Ice."
A special video will also air for a limited time on the large monitor on the first floor of the Ikebukuro Main Store, and a custom theme for the Animate app will be distributed. More collaborations with other titles are planned, so further details will follow.

About the Persona Series
The Persona series marks its 30th anniversary in 2026, beginning with the first title, Megami Ibunroku Persona (女神異聞録ペルソナ).
Set in Japanese towns, it is a juvenile RPG in which players experience everyday life at school, friendship, and romance, while also confronting occult, otherworldly events such as rumors and urban legends.
A "Persona" is another self sleeping within a person, manifesting in the form of a traditional god or demon. The story follows boys and girls who awaken to the power of the heart as they meet, overcome numerous hardships, and grow.
