Revive! Onsen Town! Launches Expanded Steam Demo on September 9 as Summer Continues

Cicadas still hum through the summer heat, and the memory of the fireworks festival lingers, but the story of Onsen Town keeps on going. Mornings begin with watering the rice paddies, afternoons bring fishing by the pond, and evenings call for a stroll along the coast. Now there's something new to enjoy in Onsen Town: the countryside life sim Revive! Onsen Town!, developed by 饼饼 Studio and published by HARRISONWORLD, has released an updated demo on Steam.

The demo expands the main story further, deepens the game's management elements, and opens up freer exploration.

Come visit the warm, faintly romantic Onsen Town, and watch it grow bit by bit alongside Kyoko and the Mayor.

Main and Side Stories Add Up to a Summer to Remember in Onsen Town

The updated demo pushes both the main story and its side stories further along.

Kyoko and the Mayor take on their first livestream together, introducing viewers to the charms of Onsen Town.

Players can also try out an affection system that lets them grow closer to the town's residents.

A new side story, "Visit Ayumi's House," has been added as well. Players can visit a garden fragrant with flowers and experience the process from picking blossoms all the way to alchemy.

Surrounded by the scent of herbs and petals, players can feel the warm bonds shared with Onsen Town's residents.

Farm Management Gets More Convenient for a More Comfortable Farm

Alongside the fields, players can now cultivate paddies as well. Managing the water lets them grow aquatic crops, adding a different flavor to farm work than the fields offer.

Livestock raising on the ranch also returns, with everything from caring for the animals to harvesting made more convenient.

A new farm management feature has also been added to the overall map. Opening the management screen from the map lets players check all of a farm's resources at a glance and manage the whole operation.

More Ways to Play Make Country Life Even Richer

Fishing, farming, and cooking — the slow life Onsen Town has to offer keeps getting richer.

The variety of fish, crops, and dishes has grown substantially, so whether players want to focus on fishing or farming, they can enjoy Onsen Town life their own way.

Once night falls, Onsen Town's night market comes alive too. Save up points from minigames, then try your luck at the newly added lottery — an unexpected prize might be waiting.

Freely Switch Between Two Protagonists, Each With Their Own Life to Live

Players can now freely switch between Kyoko and the Mayor at any time.

As Kyoko, players enjoy a relaxed summer vacation, meeting a cast of distinctive residents while working together for the good of the town.

Switching to the Mayor lets players take on requests posted to the bulletin board and think about the town's future.

Players can also travel from the town's station to Kamogawa, taking on part-time jobs and shopping while experiencing a side of town life and scenery different from Onsen Town.

Two perspectives, two lives — as each story unfolds, the full picture of Onsen Town gradually comes into view.

Easier Exploration Lets Players Freely Roam Every Corner of Onsen Town

To make exploring Onsen Town more comfortable, the demo adds a new map management feature.

Players can quickly check each area and key locations, and fast-travel to any spot they've already unlocked.

A camera feature that points the way to the next objective has also been added. Pressing the X key shows the next main story destination, and it works for side quests too, so there's no need to worry about losing your way in Onsen Town.

From the rice paddies to the coast, from the hot spring inn to the night market stalls, Onsen Town grows livelier and warmer by the day.
