A collaboration between the multimedia franchise Revue Starlight and the lyric-based card game CARU UTA (狩歌) is scheduled to launch in summer 2026. Titled "Revue Starlight CARU UTA," the product is being developed by MOGURA ENTERTAINMENT and is now available for pre-order on the MOGU MALL online store.
What Is CARU UTA?
CARU UTA is a card game played by actually singing or playing songs. When a lyric is sung—for example, "I love you~"—players race to grab matching word cards laid out on the table. The series has surpassed 120,000 copies sold in total across previous releases and has previously collaborated with artists such as Porno Graffitti and the franchise Ensemble Stars!. The game is enjoyed by players of all ages.
About Revue Starlight
Revue Starlight launched in 2017 as a multi-layered media project in which the stage cast also serves as voice actors for the anime and game. The franchise has consistently released stage productions, anime, live events, dramatic readings, manga adaptations, games, and merchandise. In 2026, the series celebrates its 9th anniversary. A new stage production, "Revue Starlight -The MUSICAL- Haruka Naru El Dorado," is set to run in May 2026 at Theater G Rosso in Tokyo Dome City, Tokyo. A completely new anime has also been announced, with production confirmed in January 2026.
Collaboration Product Details
The Revue Starlight CARU UTA set is designed to be enjoyed to the fullest with the franchise's music catalog. The set covers 28 songs from the series. The package design incorporates the nine stage girls' character colors alongside motifs from the story, expressing the world of the work.
The 99 cards each feature a unique scene photograph from the anime and film, totaling 99 different images. In standard CARU UTA gameplay, players compete by tallying the points printed on each card (1–5 points). This collaboration edition includes two special 9-point cards—a nod to the franchise's 9th anniversary.
