RØDE Wireless Pro and Wireless GO III Get Direct Connect Feature for iOS Devices

RØDE Microphones, an Australian audio equipment manufacturer, released firmware update version 2.0.8 for their popular wireless microphone systems, Wireless Pro and Wireless GO (3rd Generation), on February 18, 2026. This update brings the highly anticipated Direct Connect feature to both products.

The Direct Connect functionality allows users to connect transmitters (TX) directly to iOS devices via Bluetooth through the RØDE Capture app, eliminating the need for physical receivers. This feature was previously introduced successfully on the Wireless Micro and has now been expanded to these two flagship products.

The firmware update is available for free download through RØDE's companion app, RØDE Central (desktop version).

Key Features and Benefits of the Update

Note: Direct Connect is only available when using the RØDE Capture app.

System Requirements: iOS 16 or later. Some features may be limited on iOS 15 or earlier, or on certain device models.

Device Compatibility: Limited to iOS devices only.
