The strategic idle RPG Rogue with the Dead has marked its 4th anniversary since launching in September 2022.
What began as a solo project by a single director is now developed and operated by a team of more than 30 people, and in 2026 the game surpassed 2 million downloads worldwide.
Heading into its 5th year, the team will continue walking alongside players and taking on new challenges as it aims to be a game people can enjoy for a long time to come.
A Month Full of 4th Anniversary Campaigns This September
Starting September 11 (Friday), a series of campaigns celebrating the 4th anniversary will roll out one after another.
During this period, the game will bring back past events such as the "Limited-Time Weekly Rerun of the Forbidden Guardian" and the "Weekly Rerun of the Trial of the Gods," alongside special login bonuses, various sales, and other events to help players enjoy the game even more. It's shaping up to be a packed anniversary month with plenty for both longtime players and newcomers just stepping into the world of Rogwiz.
4th Anniversary Livestream With the Dev Team Returns for the First Time in Two Years on September 11 at 8:00 PM
To mark the 4th anniversary, a special livestream will air on YouTube starting at 8:00 PM (Friday, September 11).
The stream will reveal a wave of the latest 4th anniversary news all at once, including details on the anniversary campaigns and updates on the newest game version.
The broadcast will also bring back the planning meeting format that was well received during the 2nd anniversary livestream, where players and the development team discuss ideas together. This time it takes the form of a "Let's Design a New Soldier Together" planning meeting, using YouTube's poll feature to gather input.
Every decision in the planning meeting is determined by user vote, and anyone can take part simply by logging in through YouTube.

The Ver. 3.16.0 update planned for September 25 (Friday) will introduce a long-awaited new feature.
It's a feature that ranked among the top requests during the "New Feature Planning Meeting" held with players at the 2nd anniversary livestream, and it's finally being implemented.
New "Soul Selection" Character Banner Arrives
A limited-time "Soul Selection" (character gacha) celebrating the 4th anniversary will also arrive, featuring five Einherjar. Alongside brand-new characters, this lineup finally implements "that character," who has appeared in past events before. Who will join your hunting party?
