Royal Enfield, a leading name in the mid-size (250cc–750cc) motorcycle segment, announced the 125th Anniversary Edition HYPERSHIFT CLASSIC 650 on October 16, 2026. The commemorative model celebrates the brand's 125th anniversary.
The anniversary edition will be sold in a limited run of 125 units in each of the major regions where Royal Enfield operates, with 35 units planned for Japan. Its body color blends tradition and innovation, distilling the spirit of "Pure Motorcycling," the slogan of a brand with a 125-year history.
Brass-Inspired HYPERSHIFT Paint
The 125th Anniversary Edition HYPERSHIFT CLASSIC 650 carries over two signature elements of the Classic series: the teardrop-shaped fuel tank with its beautiful, droplet-like curves, and the headlight nacelle, the decorative front-end part that houses the headlight and meter. The body color draws inspiration from Royal Enfield's rich and historic color palette.
The paint is based on the glow of brass, which was widely used in 1901, the year Royal Enfield began building motorcycles. Deep tones are layered with gold to create the HYPERSHIFT finish, which changes its look depending on the light and viewing angle. A gold "125 Years" crest, exclusive side panel badges and hand-painted pinstripes complete this special model.
Built on the 650 Twin Platform
The model is built on Royal Enfield's well-established 650 twin platform. Its timeless design and simple mechanics deliver a light, agile ride.
How to Apply in Japan
Purchase applications in Japan are handled by lottery. Winners are chosen by lottery and only winners will be contacted. Applicants who are not selected will not be notified.
