About Sakuyama Choco Jiro
Two high school girls, TomoCho and NonP, arrive on Choco Dale Mountain, where Choco Jiro lives. As he plays with the pair, he starts picking up human habits - though his attempts always come out a little clumsy and distinctly "Choco Jiro style." Watching him enjoy himself with such pride, TomoCho and NonP can't help but grow fond of him, and the three become friends. About Choco Jiro
Choco Jiro is a food-loving "mysterious creature" who lives on Choco Dale Mountain. Officially named Choco Jiro, he one day happened to meet a human child on the mountain who shared some biscuits with him. When he tried eating chocolate together with the biscuits, he was amazed by how delicious it was. Ever since, wanting to get closer to humans, he began introducing himself in a human-like way as "Sakuyama Choco Jiro" and now travels around sharing the deliciousness of chocolate biscuits. With his catchphrase ending in "-cho," his round, fluffy brown form is hard to look away from.
About the Sakuyama Choco Jiro Chocolate Biscuits
The anime is based on Shoeidelicy's Sakuyama Choco Jiro chocolate biscuit line (available in family pack, stand pouch, small bag, and strawberry milk flavor), sold nationwide at supermarkets, convenience stores, drugstores, and other retailers. Each bite-sized biscuit combines a light, crispy biscuit with chocolate and milk cream, and the chocolate is printed with Choco Jiro's various expressions and poses along with playful "Choco Jiro-isms" that all end in "-cho."
