Sangokushi: Shinsen 5th Anniversary Festival Coming Soon — Up to 50 Recruit Tokens, Free ★5 General, and Over 1.7 Million Yen in Prize Money

Sangokushi: Shinsen, a smartphone strategy game developed by Qookka Entertainment Limited under the supervision of Koei Tecmo Games and based on the IP of Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13, is gearing up for its 5th Anniversary Festival. The celebration brings new content, generous rewards, and special projects that look back on five years of battles and the bonds formed along the way.

5th Anniversary Rewards: Up to 50 Recruit Tokens and Over 6,000 Gold Coins

To mark five years of play, one ★5 general will be distributed to all players, with returning players receiving up to 9 ★5 generals. A login event will hand out up to 50 recruit tokens, and all players will receive 1,000 gold coins, with total campaign rewards exceeding 6,000 gold coins.

During the event period, players can earn 1,000 gold coins and the limited appearance item "Gozai Rifū." Returning players will also gain access to exclusive content such as the "Enbu Senjō" mode.

The "Gozai Rifū" event offers up to 50 recruit tokens and various rewards, including a chance to win 10,000 gold coins in a lottery. New general appearances are also set to arrive in the "Bunka Buhuku" shop.

Limited 5th anniversary merchandise is also planned, with details to be announced at a later date.

Special Message from Illustrator Go Nagano

A special 5th anniversary message has been shared by Go Nagano, one of the leading illustrators behind the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series. Having designed numerous key visuals for the game, Nagano reflects on his renewed encounter with the title and the scale of support it has received from players. He also touches on his creative philosophy, expressing hopes for the game's continued growth as it reaches this milestone.

5th Anniversary Theme Song in the Works

A commemorative song and music video are currently in production as part of the 5th anniversary celebrations. The content aims to capture the memories of five years of battles and the bonds forged between fellow players through music and visuals. Special videos featuring 5th anniversary ambassadors and popular players are also planned. Details on the artists and tracks will be announced in the coming weeks.

"Bunbu Taiketsu" — New 1-on-1 Mode with Over 1.7 Million Yen in Prize Money

A new individual battle mode called "Bunbu Taiketsu" (Cultural and Martial Showdown) is set to be introduced as part of the anniversary celebrations. The mode pits players against each other in real-time across two disciplines:

Cultural Battle — "Zetsugun Jufu": A strategy-based competition drawing on famous episodes from the Three Kingdoms era.

Martial Battle — "Gunyu Budō": A battle-focused competition that tests formation building and tactical decision-making.

Each match is designed to conclude within roughly 10 minutes, making it easy to pick up at any time. Players at every level will have the chance to appear in the rankings.

A prize pool worth over 1,700,000 yen is up for grabs, with individuals eligible to win up to 100,000 yen. Players who rank in the Top 100 across all regions can also earn permanent rights to exclusive appearance sets and limited titles.

Official X Campaigns Planned
